A normal (static) QR code contains a fixed web address. If you need to change where it points, you must generate a new QR code and replace the tag or label. Our managed QR codes use a short link that redirects to a hosted page. We control the destination, so we can update the content — or even change where the QR code points — without touching the physical tag.

Yes — that's the whole point. The engraved QR code stays the same. We update the landing page or redirect behind it. This means you can correct details, add new documents, update service records, or change contact information without ordering a replacement tag.

The Basic plan ($49 setup, $29/year) includes asset name, ID, contact details and one photo. Standard ($99 setup, $49/year) adds specs, multiple photos, one PDF manual or certificate, and a fault-report button. Compliance ($199 setup, $99/year) includes a full asset record, service history tracking, expiry date monitoring, and two complimentary updates per year.

Normal scan traffic is included with every plan and you can see aggregate scan data. If you need detailed analytics, contact us to discuss options.

We operate a grace period. If a renewal is missed, we'll attempt to contact you. After the grace period expires, the managed page and short link may be suspended. We recommend setting a reminder or choosing auto-renewal to avoid service interruption. Data is retained for a reasonable period after suspension to allow reinstatement.
